Some people, or maybe even many people, don’t realize online poker is still around. After the terrible day more than ten years ago when online poker was shut down for USA players thousands of people stopped playing. It was a terrible day in many ways for online poker players. Many were making a living back then playing poker online and all of a sudden that was taken away from them for no reason really. Imagine being told you can no longer play poker online for real money if you live in the United States? Well that’s what happened and online poker for USA players just has not been the same. Having said that you can still play online poker for real money even if you live in the United States.
